Drysol How Fast Does It Work

Gehst Du TONALi?

Dear reader,
we introduce you to our trailer "Are you going tonality" before. This towards the rear of the train line U3, which drives quitschend in a railway station. Laeiszhalle "is the goal. In the subway, two young Types that go with each word. The one in the yellow T-shirt asks, "Sammal Digger, tonality are you going?" Whereupon the other in green T-shirt and answered a wink, "normal".
Knapper, a dialogue not to be. He also uses a slang language that is common among some young people.
The answer is "normally" at first seems meaningless and yet is not so. "Normal" means something like: it is just "perfect" the day - just go "normal" to tonality.
fidelt In the background, a well played violin in a jazz-fluffy beat.
is imperceptibly virtuoso music played here, which should point to the competition for young violinists.
If you look at the film, it follows the eye and the ear of a jerk-time scene that deliberately so sketchy Hence it is so easy and carefree.
To understand the film, must be either young, or have but a little humor, because it's all about winning over audiences who normally would rather rare for classical music.
This film was made by an artist from one who knows the world of "slang language", by Karen Koehler

How To I Play Pokemon Soul Silver On My Mac

On the Road Again – Playing Tourist, Part 6.1

Alright, so my tour companions said: "Just write one word: Freezing cold!". Well, actually that's two words – but it's still before seven in the morning, so you shouldn't take them too seriously.

We just got up in a pretty cold Motel room and will now be heading towards Bryce Canyon. I'm really looking forward to it! Details follow – as soon as we have the next free WiFi access.

Saint Potluck's Day

Today, on 17 March is Saint Patrick's Day . beautiful thing - for an Irishman, at least, for the Saint Patrick is considered Ireland's national saint, the 17th March is there an official holiday. Now it's not like that I would just write my thesis on the green island . No, it is green hier wirklich nicht.

The parade route was relatively short: When I saw it correctly, there were only one or two blocks involved, very near the Gateway Mall , a large shopping complex in the north of the city. Nevertheless, the parade was bigger than I had expected: More than a hundred groups took part. The weather was unfortunately

the country of origin all honor: It was pouring rain (at least for Utah ratios), and later went to the rain over to snow. The mood in the move but seemed to do little break, but somehow the green shivering figures did then sorry but (sometimes they were blue - from the cold or by the Guinness ). I myself had found a dry spot to watch from a bridge. The lighting conditions were, however, this sub-optimal, so that my pictures have more this time because documentary aesthetic character. Or on good German: now you are pretty bad.

But still: the curtains!

Everywhere Green: Green painted horses ...

... green decorated cars ...

... green - no, the bagpipe players were for a change, not really green.

Even the Statue of Liberty looked over in Salt Lake City.

surreptitious , but at least match the color.

The state flag should not be missed.

More bagpipe player, this time dressed weather capability. (No, I do not mean the man with the sunglasses.)

Even Ireland's famous football player David O'Beckham war anwesend.

Gute Nacht, Utah. Dia duit ar maidin , Éire !

Why Does Hair Not Grow Through Herpes?

Drivin' USA – The American Way of Life, Teil 3

I first had the pleasure to participate not only as a pedestrian and passenger, but as an active driver on the American road. Reason enough to deal with some of the differences between German and American system.

The most important lesson of all: By and large I had to not move much: Even in the U.S. on the right, in the U.S. you stop at red lights and driving in green. But at the traffic lights the differences already start:

How can you here un difficult to see the normal traffic lights may look the same as in Germany, but elsewhere PLACE. You are not actually includes, but behind the intersection, for which they apply. So if you only just before a red light comes to a standstill, has done something wrong - and crossing the intersection illegally. This is my own fortunately not happened, but I have corresponding get told by other Germans.

Another difference: When a red traffic light, we may yet turn right after one has previously assured that the road is clear - similar to green arrow green arrow in Germany. However, this rule does not apply in all states of the USA - namely the traffic law is generally the responsibility of individual states.

And one last to the traffic lights, this time from the perspective of a pedestrian: If one rule here in the beautiful Upon the red, green means go , we shall have to wait some time - also pretty long. For a pedestrian traffic light is not always green in Utah, they will know! A complete traffic light cycle is as follows:

The characters are self-explanatory (which I does not stop to explain them anyway): If the white person on (left), the way is clear, the red Hand (right), should you stop better. That leaves the middle image, which corresponds to a yellow phase for pedestrians: Click the red flashing hand and the seconds are counted down to the red phase next to it. How long does it but during this stage may start is safe from traffic light to traffic light quite different: In some places the road-traffic light immediately after the second green, in others still goes up to another half minute. Too bad that you do not know that before. As a rule of thumb is therefore (at least for me): Once the clock is running, to assess whether the seconds still crossing the road and to the rich rather be in doubt and stay angry, if there were still plenty of time left.

What is in the pictures does not see: the white phase is accompanied in Salt Lake City by a Tonignal for the blind - and specifically for east-west or north-south direction, the same throughout the city (the is so constructed in a grid pattern, we remind us). is whether this (in many places quite loud) but turned off during the night or if you are the residents of a traffic light, even at four clock in the morning from an electronic cuckoo (North-South direction) and Sparrow (East-West direction) harass must be, is beyond my current Memory.

So much for lights, but I stay at intersections, because there is another, for me at the beginning rather curious feature: the so-called all-way stop . What does this mean? Let me tell a little detail: If you come in Germany to an intersection or junction equal roads, the rule right before left . And in the U.S. we have this rule well, I is not a known intersection, where it is actually applied. As a rule, namely, always has a road right of way (although not by an extra priority sign is displayed). The intersecting street is indicated by Stop signs, a lower priority. Now to the all-way stop : Meeting once a road but the same priority to each other, so get all or a stop sign, often accompanied by the words 4-Way (for crossings) and 3-Way ( for branches) among them. This then means: When you no matter from which side, at the crossroad, you have to stop in any case, make sure that everything is free, and can then, if so, is proceeding. Interesting but will it be if cars come from several directions at such a crossroads. Then it states: be attentive! The rule is: Who came first at the intersection, the das Recht zu fahren. Und so gilt als größter Kritikpunkt des All-way stops der caused by him increased time requirement and fuel consumption, so increasingly in the United States experimented with roundabouts is. In Salt Lake I have still not seen one, but it should be on the university campus one.

The biggest adjustment for me when driving meant well but the handling of overtaking the U.S.. The rules allow namely the passing lane roads on both sides - left and right. So if the Interstate (the American counterpart to the highway) the micro-switches to the right, should be particularly attentive.

At this point we leave the street, our tank is empty in the meantime (going fast at the local big cars with automatic transmissions). We drive to the gas station and ask already set the next feature: Pay after refueling is not typical. This does not mean you did not pay. It has instead mostly the following possibilities: Either you pay before filling up a fixed amount and just the appropriate amount of fuel is then released from the pump. So you should be able to appreciate pretty good fit in the tank or how much you have to hope that you get back at the end of its excess money. Or you can pay directly at the gas pumps, vending machines with credit card. This works in general, but only with a credit card, on which a ZIP code (ie a U.S. postal code) is stored. On our National Park tour, we had three times lucky: Twice was also the European credit cards accepted, and once I found a friendly cashier who allowed me to pay for all European-style behind and in cash.

Ah yes, the U.S. citizens complain of too high fuel prices. Here's a little calculation: The price of the gallons Super is here now at around $ 2.80. If, at an exchange rate of one euro to $ 1.36 as it applies at the moment about, so get there ...

... right on about 54 (€) per liter cents - a price that drove me, my American friends to a complete lack of understanding, almost tears of joy in his eyes.

What you should know? If you want to come in the U.S. of A to B, you should plan a little more time than in Germany. First, because apply to the State Routes and Interstates always speed limits. The limits are displayed at regular intervals, so I still do not know if it even exists a general speed limit. Speed limits are in fact always MPH (miles per hour) indicated - converted to kilometers per hour or about 1.6 times the displayed number conversion is in most cases be unnecessary, since the speedometer scale also in MPH. Second, you should bring along a little more time because the country is just so much bigger than Germany. If only our National Park tour, where we even left the state of Utah and not us "only" went from the north to its southern middle meant an easy distance of 500 kilometers.

the time being I am now, after returning the rental car, again relying on my two legs, my bicycle or public transport, so I need I be concerned about such distances currently do not have thoughts.

Bon voyage!

Inside Utah State Capitol – Playing Tourist, Part 6 [aktualisiert]

After recently few weeks ago almost four months here ever seen a report with pictures of the Utah State Capitol have published, I give now impressions of the interior view. To be honest I did on my first visit to Capitol does not mean that one day it just so embarrassed and so can also visit the inside. Weekday tours are even available - unfortunately this time I was there Saturday.

Before I get the slide show start, nor an indication: In one of the pictures again the fault of the category subtly hidden but on closer inspection more of a blunder - and is now waiting to be discovered. In other words, it reflects what win! This time either a postcard, a Utah fan glass (same label as my in this review mentioned, but possibly some other form) or a packet of Beef Jerky - and, of course, I almost forgot, in addition the obligatory guest post on the blog, if desired. Tips to be Sunday midnight (German time) as a comment on this post received. [ update: I was told that the Comment does not always my articles. However, I have no great possibilities to change something in the settings. So if you want to add a tip that can do so via mail to your meandtheu (at) gmail (dot) de]
DC in advance some tips. To find the error you need this time is neither knowledge nor any typographical research is needed. A bit of attention (not too much - the non-zoomed pictures are enough to find) and common sense should be enough. Good luck!

And yet the fine print: My tour guide of the Capitol tour and all known people, I must unfortunately exclude from the puzzle.

I will start the tour despite the otherwise announcement with an exterior view of the Capitol:

Well, notice anything? Correct: Spring is in the Salt Lake Valley! But inside:

Welcoming: A copy of the Declaration of Independence . Then, a relief map of the state where I have zoomed to a specific position:

Hat man von den abgebildeten Nationalparks vielleicht schon mal gehört? Nein? Dann dringend nochmal hier und hier vorbeischauen! Weiter geht es mit dem Symbol des Staates Utah:

Der Beehive , der Bienenstock. Er geht auf die Mormonen zurück, die ihn als Sinnbild für erfolgreiche Industrie sehen und die ihn sich wiederum vermutlich von den Freimaurern "geborgt" haben. Utah trägt übrigens den Spitznamen Beehive State .

Ein Blick in die Kuppel von unten:

… und auf die Figuren direkt darunter:

Science & Technology

Land & Community

Immigration & Settlement

Arts & Education

A look at the Gold Room :

... and on the dome arches:

pardon, I mean this Image (no, not the desired error) was:

The mural above the entrance to House of Representatives :

... and the painting opposite, to the entrance Supreme Court (the here but not in session for several more years):

Finally, a few of the images inside the dome:

... and then that's it for now with paintings. The tour is drawing to a close. There are no really just the images from the model of USS Utah (and associated labels), which was currently the only U.S. battleship the name of the State of Utah and in 1941 fell attack on Pearl Harbor :

after so many political, we turn briefly to the religion, with a view to the already often mentioned Temple, which I caught on the way back (den Blick, nicht den Temple – und: nein, hier steckt der Fehler nicht drin):

Fehler gefunden? Wenn nicht, auch nicht so schlimm. Dann haben hoffentlich wenigstens die Bilder gefallen.

Amerikulinarisch – The American Way of Life, Teil 2 [aktualisiert]

[ Aktualisierung: Achtung!

Zum anderen the contributions of the category Simon - In the U.S. alone . And third, of course, the articles on food . The current review should fit into all three categories.

The department cookies, candy bars and snacks find me in the supermarket in virtually every purchase. So far I have a shelf but it can always be left, because its offer me, sorry, more of the area Pet Food as a meal has to be thinking in between.
date. Yesterday I struggled through now to be standing in front of said shelf and to leave again before not one of the had found there to-find packages the way into my shopping basket. In a death-defying self-experiment, I finally tasted the contents thereof, and will now also take testimony for posterity. What I'm talking about? Course of Beef Jerky .

Beef Jerky is one of the few products that I stay here before I had never heard (though it, I found out later, few probably can buy in Germany). In the United States, it seems, to me, the wide range of manufacturers and can include variations to enjoy some popularity. This is actually something very mundane: cut into strips, marinated, dried beef. Just right for a snack in between, right?

Packaging
... I see here is really only one reason:

Included in the U.S. snacks rather than 3% Fat - no, they are 97% Fat Free ! The same goes for milk, cheese, sausage and the like. And if a product contains as much fat that even the words 75% Fat Free somehow no longer sounds so good, it is just being advocated with 0g Trans Fat (such as, for example, the very end of the article mentioned food). You have to be creative in advertising easy. But I digress, back to Jerky: The fact that the meat actually contains only three per cent fat is because the remaining fat to be removed. Fat becomes rancid quickly, and the original reason for the Jerky production lies in the preservation of meat.

The contents of the package
looks ... like this: (!
Do Not Microwave
)
The blue and white packet containing iron filings to the left with the oxygen in the packaging to react and so the actual content to keep fresh longer. The rest of the right of it: Well, just cut into strips, marinated, dried beef.
is said to have originated the term Jerky way in Quechua word charqui , also referred to the dried meats.

The taste of the contents of the package
Well, cut into strips, marinated, dried ... seriously: The taste (of course only the meat, not the blue and white packet) is definitely getting used to the meat taste sweet, very hot (which could of course be because I peppered the variant have selected) and is pretty tough. Black Forest ham, sprinkled with sugar and pepper and let one days lying around, should cater for a similar dining experience

I'm still not quite fit, though I Jerky like it or not -. The fact that I bag was emptied during the writing should, however, suggest that it can not be that bad. Or that my taste is now the local customs result has adapted.

Anyway, my palate needs after so many new things until something decent. Fortunately, in my closet still a pack of chocolate marshmallow biscuits ...
