Jazz ist auch Teil des Namens einer Basketball-Mannschaft, deren voller Name Utah Jazz lautet. Wer sich für US-amerikanischen Basketball interessiert, dem kommt der Name vielleicht bekannt vor, denn das Team spielt in der NBA.

Während der Winterspiele 2002 fanden hier außerdem Wettbewerbe in Shorttrack und Eiskunstlaufen statt.

Das Team
Die Utah Jazz wurden 1974 als New Orleans Jazz gegründet, erhielten its new name, but in 1979, when they moved to Salt Lake City. Her best result was the two-time entry into the NBA finals in the nineties of last century. Both times they lost, however, against the Chicago Bulls .

The atmosphere: In the beginning almost hypothermic. It is obviously good form, not to kick, but only a half hour or hour to appear later.
