Kaufungen steht nun verdient auf dem vorletzten 13. Platz und hat keine Chance mehr, diesen zu verlassen. Um das Verlassen des Platzes an zwölfter Stelle in der Tabelle streiten sich in den letzten beiden Spielen Vellmar, Wildungen und Wolfsanger mit 20 und Lohfelden mit 17 Zählern auf der Habenseite. Die Entscheidung könnte jedoch bereits am nächsten Wochenende fallen: Lohfelden lädt Vellmar zum Gastspiel. Kann Lohfelden nicht siegen, so kann das Team nicht mehr nach Vorne rücken. Kommt ein Sieg bei gleichzeitiger Niederlage Wolfsangers in Dittershausen zustande, so entscheidet das bereits als mögliches Endspiel angekündigte Lohfelden game against Wolfsanger on the final day.
